The Moreton Group is pleased to announce we have become an official sponsor of the Gold Coast’s Southport Yacht Club (SYC) and is additionally supporting its Junior Sailing Program!
Since its establishment in 1946, the SYC has become the Gold Coast’s most award-winning premier sports club and was a recent recipient of the ‘Hall of Fame Award’ from Keno & Clubs Queensland Award for Excellence, an award it has received for three consecutive years.
One of The Moreton Group’s youngest family members has been heavily involved in the SYC. Managing Director and Financial Advisor Cameron Dickson’s son, Lucas, is currently learning to sail and race with his fellow junior sailors within the club, attending multiple youth sailing championships.
Since entering last year’s sailing championship in Yeppoon, Lucas is extremely eager to enter into this years’ competition – an opportunity which he never would have imagined without the motivation of the Yacht Club.
